Did you know that King of Prussia was named after a tavern?

At least, that's the popular theory out there on historical web sites. Once upon a time the area was known as Reeseville, and along came a surveyor and saw the name in the local inn/tavern, took it for the town name and lo'. . . King of Prussia was born.

Historical facts are usually up for interpretation, but for our own selfish purposes. . .we buy it. There you have it. KoP was named after a bar, and this web site is dedicated to all of the present-day bars that make it a wonderful place to live and socialize.
